Barry Palte
Barry founded EQ Capital Partners in 1999 after a distinguished corporate and institutional career. His corporate/institutional roles included serving on the executive committee of MLC’s Wholesale Funds Management Business, Australia’s third largest fund manager. He also served as the head of Strategy and M&A for the funds management and insurance businesses of Commonwealth Bank (Australia’s largest bank) in both Australia and Asia
Barry served as Global Chairman of the International Association of Investment Bankers – recently renamed Orion International Advisors (a global network of investment banks with member firms in USA, UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Japan, India, Brazil, China and Australia).
He also previously served on the Chairman’s Council for the Australia China Research Institute which was founded by the ex-Foreign Minister of Australia.

Jeroen has 25+ years’ experience in project management and management consulting focused on managing large transformation programs across both capital intensive and IT initiatives. He has also been the founder of several companies including Huber Social, social impact measurement; PVM Int, a predictive analytics business sold to Deloitte; Deloitte eSolution Centre, accelerator services for start-ups and Brooke, a high-end business transformation consultancy.
Other current roles include:
- Advisory board member Huber Social an impact measurement firm with consultants in all global regions whose purpose is to connect achievement of social outcomes with funding. Partners include Oxford University, United Nations Data Forum and SIMNA.
- Non-Executive Director of Stepping Stone House a youth-at-risk service provider acknowledged as the highest achiever in service excellence by the Association of Children’s Welfare Agencies (ACWA)
- Invited member of Top Tier Impact (TTI), a global members-only community for investors, entrepreneurs and professionals focused on solving contemporary critical issues.
